Up and coming for sure!

So a LONG while back I was nominated by a dear friend for the Leibster award which is given usually to bloggers with less than 200 followers and are in the "Up and coming" phase. Thank you Amanda @ Amanda's Daily Obsessions.

Liebster is a German word meaning dear, sweet, kind, nice, good, beloved, lovely, kindly, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.

Post wedding craziness!

Finally have the image for our thank you cards!

I'm so in love with this picture it's insane! lol.

Completely captured both of our personalities to the TEE.

A HUGE thanks to Trina Claycomb of "Claycomb Photography" for shooting our wedding.

Now to tackle the letters for our loved ones, is it weird that I'm super excited for this task? :)

City of Sunshine!

So I've officially made my move to San Diego!

It's such a different lifestyle than what I am used to in northern California. A lot of that "hussle bussle" and not enough of an opportunity to stop and smell the roses. I've always been a busy girl, but I feel a little lost in such a new city. Granted, this place is beautiful. Being new to the world of a military wife, I'm definitely learning as we go. Luckily, I've been busy taking photos and enjoying the scenery around here. Hubs and I have gone to the zoo, Sea World, and many of the beaches the city has to offer.

So relaxing!

I got a job in a local coffee shop downtown which has been fun so far. Definitely gives me an outlet to feel productive and socialize a little.

I love my new community so far (Any women in Bayview military housing? lol) I'm still trying to get out and involved and meet some new people.

plus, decorating for fall has been SO fun. The colors are gorgeous and all the holiday candles have the house smelling amazing :)

It's official!!

Soooo, my fiancé just got the GREAT news on where we will be stationed! Looks like we are heading off to the beautiful San Diego, CA.

I am so excited to be staying in our home state and still be able to be moderately close to our family.

Now comes the hard part... Finding a place to suit us well. I have no idea where to begin... Especially since we're still waiting for the hard copies with all the details on dates and what not. Any advice on how to get started? What to look for and what places will or won't give back part of our BAH and things like that? I don't really want to apply for base housing, but would rather have our own place separate seeing as neither of us (fiancé and I) have lived away from home (with the exception of his barracks on base and such) so this is such a new experience.

All in all... I'm happy to finally know and get started with our planning :)

Yay!

On a side note... I just celebrated my 21st birthday this past week. Quickly found out that the party scene really isn't for me, and I was REALLY paying for it today. Oh my goodness, I swear my sun glasses never left my face! Haha.

I ran into some lovely ladies I haven't seen since high school which was totally fun... And I experienced my first fishbowl! Which honestly... Not the best lol. But totally okay. You only turn 21 once :)

Alrightyyyy

Finally back for good! haha.

I have had a lot of changes recently...but they couldn't better!

I've decided to change my major to Photography and a minor in Marketing. :) I couldn't be MORE EXCITED! Finally going to follow my dream :)

Wedding plans are going amazinggg, can you believe we are going to have this whole wedding planned for UNDER $6,000??? That's for everything INCLUDING my dress :)

We are going for a totally vintage feel and it's everything I've ever imagined.

These are a couple inspirations for my wedding :) LOVE everything about it.

on a more frustrating note...I kept having problems with my ring and they got tired of fixing it...so I got to go pick out a new one, which honestly I am SOO in love with :)

We STILL don't know where for sure we are going, but San Diego is lookin gooood :) So excited.
But I guess home is wherever the NAVY says so.lol.

We got our engagement photos back, thanks to the amazinggg Amanda Kringle Photography!

and most of all...I met a woman about my age who started talking about locations,
price and freedom was huge...and I was talking how so far the places I had found all wanted to charge me extra fees, well she mentioned a wonderful place she was having hers and also recently found, and I fell in love, went to look at it today and it's mine! I am so so so happy! It's totally country and rustic and BEAUTIFUL! Totally me, for the best price ever, we have freedom to bring in any food or drink we want, and it's just everything I wanted!!! yayyy. Miranda Lambert is my total insipiration! :)
