Weekly update!

Alrighty, this week has been busy busy busy!

I was able to see my Big Sis and my Twin on monday. SUCH a wonderful surprise to have her in town this weekend. We all went to the Tower Cafe in Sacramento. I'd never been there before and I loveddd it. Such a pretty little area and the breakfast was very good. YUM.

I caved and got a Pinterest account...and I can honestly say that's my new love. haha. So many cute things on there! like these ear warmers...

I'm making some in black for my dance team to wear. SO CUTE!

Oh! and only 40ish more days until my Sailor comes home! Can you say exciting?!? I can't wait. 

Now, on another note, his mother is going through some tough times with her health and we are hoping for the best, please keep her in your prayers.

Hello November!

Ok, so again I've been gone for a while, but a little update on my week...

My dance team had our pictures...

Here's a little sneak peak. 

I am SO excited to see the final photos taken with a much better camera (and not my phone. lol. )

I also made THEEE cutest cupcakes in the spirit of Halloween.

on sunday morning I participated alongside my aunts in the Merrell Down and Dirty Mud Run in Folsom, Ca. 

This is a picture AFTER I was able to clean up a little. 

It was difficult and trying, but I was able to finish my 5K in 45 minutes through all the obstacles including ladders and walls to jump over, steep hills, running through a portion of the lake, AND through two separate mud pits. They made me submerge my head, SO GROSS, but so worth it and I had a fantastic time. Especially since it was to raise money to send care packages to military over seas. :) 

It was QUITE the experience.

All in all I would say that this has been an eventful week and I'm loving my start to this fall season. 

OH! and my man found out that he actually gets to transfer sooner than they originally said, on his birthday. November 30! He's so happy that he doesn't have to wait that extra week and a half. 

Today is a day for me to relax and catch up with all my classes and errands. It's my day off! 

Well kind of. :)

Movie date with mom and sis

Gooood morning! 

Loving this weather for sure. 

Last night my mom, sister, and I all went to go see the remake of the 80s movie Footloose, and it was actually VERY good. I loved it! 

A lot like the original and had the same story line, but it was a fun one. 

Fall is here!

For some reason this didn't want to post yesterday...

Okay! So first off, today has been a good day full of school and dancing.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is back! I welcome fall with open arms. The cool breezy weather, fall decorations, and the changing colors of the leaves! I love it.

YUM.

One thing I'm particularly happy about, I finally was able to send out my care package for the babes. Just full of some goodies he misses from home and some items he could use.

I always send him something homemade, always makes him feel a little less homesick. Like this time I included some zucchini bread and some brownies, sometimes some homemade jerky. Things that he can share with his roommates (since he most likely won't have a whole lot of a choice. lol.) They all appreciate it just as much.

Only another month and a half an he'll be home again :)

Finally back!

So I know I've been off of my blog for the majority of summer, everything has been so crazy but lots of new and exciting things are happening.

It's official, my man is off to Norfolk Virginia for the next step in his training and most likely for his duty station. It's nice to finally know the next move. I will be following shortly behind him and be moving out there for school next summer. It's going to be a huge change from California!

This is us the last time he came home.

He came home 3 days early and surprised me. Most amazing feeling. :)


And these are back when he came home from bootcamp. Can't believe it's almost been a year.
